About the opportunity:

The Technical Coordination engineer is responsible for or assist with several of the below listed activities depending on the job/project requirements and the job holder’s competences and experience:

Configuration management (Design changes, open-points, interfaces)

The Technical Coordination engineer is in charge of the Design Change Management by piloting and  coordinating the technical aspects of the Configuration (Design changes/Open points/Referential) between the different internal and external stakeholders ensuring a consistent and optimised (challenges the technical impacts) design for the Project.

Coordination of cross-functional technical issues:

  • Ensures the resolution of various cross-functional technical issues by coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders.
  • Participates where necessary in coordination meetings organised by the various parties involved in the project (modification committee, project decision meeting, etc.)
  • Presents and shares progress, including KPI production, data analysis to support management and decision making

 

Participation to different Project Committees:

  • Committees can be the Technical Referential Committee, Change Management Boards, NI Risks & Opportunities Committee.

 

Other activities:

  • Carries out internal Quality Control: checks the consistency of the engineering deliverables.
  • Takes part in the management of experience feedback from previous projects.
  • Reports to the team manager on his/her activity.

 

Business Travel: Occasional meetings in France

 

Level of Experience: Engineer, Chartered Engineer

 

Software skills: Microsoft Tools (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Sharepoint, One Note, etc)

Note2: Based on our Client site Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week (Current remote working due to COVID-19)

Here’s What You’ll Need: 

Essential:

  • Engineer with several years of experience in one or several engineering disciplines which can include nuclear safety, electrical, mechanical, systems, civil, layout.
  • Previous experience on the HPC project, including the use for the configuration management processes and tools.
  • Should possess good inter-personal and communication skills to interact at all levels of the organisation.
  • Good influencing skills and the ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative.
  • Proactive with the ability to multi-task.
  • Results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines with a good writing ability.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Tools.
  • Fluent in English, written & verbal.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in previous EPR or other nuclear projects
  • Experience of working in a fast pace engineering project environment
  • French language skills – written & verbal
